Award-winning underwater photojournalist Brian Skerry is celebrated for his intimate and stunning portraits of our planet's ocean realm. In a visually spectacular presentation tied to his landmark National Geographic book Ocean Soul, you'll share Skerry's adventures documenting the wonder and resilience of the vast underwater world.

About Brian Skerry

Brian's National Geographic features have focused on subjects such as the planet's last remaining pristine coral reefs, the plight of the right whale, sharks of the Bahamas, marine reserves, sea turtles and squid. He is currently at work on his 20th National Geographic story.

Skerry has also worked on assignment for or had images featured in magazines such as Sports Illustrated, U.S. News and World Report, BBC Wildlife, Smithsonian, Esquire and Men's Journal, as well as countless publications worldwide. National Geographic Books released his latest monograph, Ocean Soul in November 2011.

Skerry frequently lectures on photography and conservation issues, having presented at venues such as TED Talks, Harvard University, the National Press Club in Washington D.C., and the Royal Geographic Society in London. He is also a regular guest on programs such as NBC's Today, CBS's Sunday Morning, and ABC's Good Morning America.
